I can't help but notice that it tries to use a Display with 0 bits of colour and a refresh rate of 0. Probably not right? BTW I develop in LWJGL so that definitely works on this computer but to my knowledge I've never run a slick game before. If I can be any more help, let me know.

I get the same error as quew8, but only when I rename the folder the game is in from "bluesaga_v0_4" to anything else.

hey, just wanted to say that there seems to be an error.
I got 4.31 updated it and then it said "creating game" but no frame occurs, but I can see that in the procesmanager are many Java Instances. The same now on 4.32. No Problems before 4.31.
Any ideas?

Thanks Kev! Yes it's been 2 years now I've been working on it, re-done the game completely three times but think it is turning out the way I want it now.
I'm working on getting it to work on linux, maybe it is the way I load my graphics. Will post when I get it to work!
Made a lot of new weapons and re-balanced a bit, which will come with the next version.

Made some re-balancing so it is easier in the beginning, a lot of new items such as weapons and equipments.

Thanks for the kind words!
Just added more than 20 new different materials that are dropped by monsters, they will be used for the future crafting system. Thinking of using a crafting system that is a combination of skill and recipes with different crafting stations that can be used depending on the recipe.

Sounds cool. I'm afraid I have to report another bug at the moment- I just registered a character, and for some reason the game crashes whenever I click on the little 'helmet' icon at the top of the screen, with no error message. It seems to be reproducible.

This is fixed now! Added some new areas and some abilities for the monsters, one of them being ink spit for the squids which covers the screen Ć la Mario Kart =D

I just finished the initial larva quest, a few other comments- * I think I might have run into an invisible larva someplace? At one point, I kept taking damage without any visible enemy. * Is there a 'run' option of some kind, maybe at the price of a to-hit penalty? Getting to some areas is kinda tedious, and being able to hit-and-evade would be useful in combat. * It's a minor point, but maybe the skills pane could keep the physical and magical skills grouped together (e.g, blunts and unarmed down at the bottom with swords/bows, etc.)? * Gotta say again: the art is adorable, and the music is great. How did you come up with it?

Hi Morgan! Thanks for the feedback! - The invisible monsters can sometimes occur when a monster appear at the edge of the screen, then the client thinks it has all the data but hasn't. Will look closer at the problem and fix it. - There is no run option in the game, there is a haste ability though that can be acquired from a certain npc in the game. There is also a block ability, but an evade ability would be a nice addition. - The ability window is a bit cluttered at the moment, and a lot of new abilities will be added so I need to structure it up a bit. - Thank you! I used to draw comics before making games and used to watch a lot of anime and read belgian comics as a kid so I always loved cute characters. Wow! This is really impressive I'm happy you've kept working on it! Someday I hope I come up with a great game idea that I can keep workin on for years and just add stuff everyday, very jealous! yeah, I don“t knew wif u knew it already, but there seems to be a bug with the new login. I used "forgot password" and generated a new one, but the client always told me, that the Account has to be activated. And now I am even not able to send a mail, I am always getting an: Message could not be sent.Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function. Error. Would be great if someone could report it to the Admin.

Yes it is my webhost which has a really low limit of mails allowed to be sent within short time span. But I have activated all accounts created up until now so your account should be working now.

Added a PvP arena where you can kill each other without losing any xp, sp or loot!
In bigger cities there will be larger arenas with built in traps and even monsters!
