Hello peoples. I have never seen a topic that talks about gaming resources much at all so...

So this topic is were people can post royalty free resources people can use in a game. The royalty free part is important.

Do not post stuff that is not something you made or have permission to distribute. It rude.

So to kick start things I made a menu song/loop today and anyone and everyone can use it for what ever they want. It loops seamlessly.

It is large because it includes a .wav/.mp3/.ogg format of the file. (the .wav is what takes up space)

I like to make sfx, songs and what not so if anyone want some "real" royalty free stuff just ask. I also am not to bad at art work and will give what ever your asking a try but...

I hope this kind of topic is allowed...if not I apologize in advanced.

Yay for necroing!  But it would be better post this here then a new topic as this is the topic I made originally for this type of things.

So I had to scrap the Edge game as I broke everything in it and do not want to rewrite the whole thing but I really liked the menu sounds in it so I thought I should share all bunch of sounds I tested with it for menu effects and a little spacey sound scape loop I never used.

All sounds are .ogg format. If you need different you can convert them. About 12 sounds all techy like. Enjoy.

I bought my wife fruityloops and was hoping that she would do some of the sound effects...but with this maybe I can do some of it myself

I could have sworn that they had more sound effects listed in the past... but basically most of the stuff is free, just look for the "Freeware" label and read the TOS.

So got a wacom tablet and just started using it. Well I suck but need to practice to get better. Here is a something I did and am thinking of doing a tile set in the same style if people want more.

One of the pages is just a screenshot from one of the Star Wars movie with a PhotoShop filter to make it look like a black and white sketch. When someone does invent a light saber (patented or not), Apple will file a patent after the fact and sue the inventor.

Ah never mind about the whole stretching thing. I had firefox zoom in for this site as it makes things easier to read so all images where indeed stretched. 

This could be others issue as well.

Yeah, I thought it was the browser zooming too, that's why I wanted a screenshot, or I would never be able to reproduce it.
