I just realized that some of you may not be aware of this.  When you tweet a screenshot of your game in development, with the hash tag #screenshotsaturday It's added to different websites that archive them along with other people's screen shots, organized by the week they were added.  I've been doing this for the last couple of weeks (almost every week) and would love to see more java games (in developmental stages) from JGO members.

The 3 Sites that I'm currently aware of are:
http://www.screenshotsaturday.com/  Not the most visually appealing, but it works.
http://screenshotsaturday.frogames.com/  I like the layout of this site, but it's been known to "ignore" some posts (like my last one).
http://markfrimston.co.uk/ssrss/feed.xml  I don't visit this one often, but you can use it with your favorite RSS reader.

I use it as motivation to keep plucking along and as a weekly reminder to back up my code.  Hopefully those of you who were previously unaware of this will use it too.

I did it a couple of times, and realized this. Then I ran off, until something that matches the cool kids' stuff comes up.

Twitter could be a tool for building up a fan base.

I use(d) twitter as a micro-blog - blogging took up too much time, being able to drop an update on twitter for game progress is great

I've seen this question a thousand times! They're part of Oryx' pack of low-res RPG sprites, and they're openly licensed

my current game use exactly same sprites as LoY's.

@kevglass: and that's good choice. easy to let your follower to know that you were creating monster, fighting xcode, or out of coke (that's some I remember)
