Hi!

This is my first game that I made completely by myself, except for the sound. I got the sound at www.freesound.org.
The goal is to kill as many enemies as you can, before they destroy your ship.
I tested it on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.04. If someone will test it on Mac, please let me know if it works.

It is a little similar but I didn't make this game after your if you think that. Cheesy The first time I saw your game was a few days ago.
You can't play it indefinitely long Smiley my best score is ~500 kills. But I can reduce enemy creating time if it is to easy. Now new enemy is created every second.
Thanks you for trying the game.

Yeah I didn't mean it like that, was just a funny coincidence.
But space shooting - not unique, so obviously similar games are there... Grin

Only strange thing is, the suns/planets, move as you move, but nothing else
I know what you wanna do with the perspective, having one layer parallax, but it doesn't work if the background doesn't move AT ALL
well maybe it works sometimes, like in EVE, but I don't know

Yes indeed Cheesy

You are right about the background, I just thought/hope that it will not be so obviously when the fog will move.

Nice looking game.

Works fine on OS X as well.

Some more variation would really make the game more interesting. Badies with different movement patters for example and I would really like some weapons upgrade. I think 1 badie/sec is good to begin with, but you can then gradually change that as time progress.

Really nice for a first game!
