So I posted this to freegamer too, I am going to make a free software game in java:

2D side scrolling platform game based on physics.

You will be jumping on springs and spinning wheels and things like that.

If anyone wants to collaborate with me that is great!

So a 2D Little Big Planet without the customization? I tried something semi-similar and had a very very difficult time making it fun. Real physics are difficult to work with. Best of luck.
