About us
Bossa Studios is a new Games company based in the creative Shoreditch, London UK. Led by four veterans from the games, entertainment and mobile industries, the studio’s vision is to disrupt the current state of the ‘social games market’. Bossa team is driven by doing things differently, creatively, with an edge, with charm, with flair.

We are looking for experienced Java Developers to join our coding team.

Key Responsibilities


- Building super fast, scalable, and pretty damn awesome games servers for the best games on social networks and beyond

- Ensuring code is of a high quality
- Support for existing games, building tools for administration and reporting, identifying and fixing potential exploits

- Create and maintain necessary documentation (eg. Service interfaces and integration instructions)



Essential skills

- A strong knowledge of Core Java

- Experience working in highly scalable, multi-threaded environments

- Experience with builds, deployment and debugging


- An interest in games



Advantageous skills

- Spring

- Experience integrating with Facebook

- Javascript knowledge

- NoSQL (in particular, Cassandra)

- Amazon web services

- Agile development practices

- SOA / SaaS
