Forum drama at its finest! =D Just let people roll the way they want and if they pass a clear line, then ban the person.
Concerning creating a JGO game or something like that: I've also had bad experiences with these kinds of projects. Either nobody does anything, one person does everything, or everyone does everything. None of them worked out any good. We do need some kind of developer role system, or at least some way to "reserve" the right to implement a certain feature, so that things doesn't crash 'n' burn.

The moderators have received reasonably clear guidelines and fancy new tools to handle individual offensive posts.
