Are they any recently updated slick2D tutorials out there??  Specifically for side scrolling platformers?  The one in the slick2d is unfinished and might be old.

IIRC the slick wiki has a few nice tutorials including one for a platformer. There are a few video tutorials for slick on youtube too, just do a search there.

The slick wiki that I'm looking at (the http://slick.cokeandcode.com/wiki/doku.php?id=freeaks_tutorials seems old and incomplete.  As well as a little hard to follow.  Thats why I was looking for something more complete, easier to follow, and up to date.  But I'll try looking on youtube.  But if anyone wants to be super cool and maybe complete/make that tut easier to follow, that'd be awesome too!
