Maybe its temporary? I've been unable to get onto the JCraft site. First tried this morning. Anyone here know about those folks and what they are up to?

I wanted to try out JOrbis. Wost case scenario: anyone have an alternative decoder to suggest? I guess I'm looking for an encoder as well, but that is moot if we can't decode in Java.

You could dig it out of libgdx until the site is back:
http://code.google.com/p/libgdx/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk%2Fbackends%2Fgdx-openal%2Flibs
Example decoding code in the same gdx-openal project.

The JOrbis sourcecode is also included in my 3D SoundSystem's CodecJOrbis plug-in (see the thread below this one - I'm typing from my phone so can't have two browsers up at once to grab the link).  There is also the JOgg library as a less-compatible alternative.

Thank you both! I was able to get a copy.
And now I see that www.jcraft.com is back up.
