Btw, forcing be to choose between Phantasy Star IV, Flashback and SF2? Evil.

As evil as having to choose between Earthbound, Zelda :LttP, and Chrono Trigger? Hmmmm....
The voting has many components to it that I will draw out in the exhibition that deal with the issues of curating culture, the difficult decisions when forced into linear definitions, and how the voting system mimics mechanics found in story driven games where it seems there is choice that can effect the outcome.
Thanks to all who voted!
Okay that was kinda easy.
Though, I was surprised that I didn't find Super Smash Bros Melee for gamecube

No fighting genre in this exhibition. Sorry

I've voted

Strangely, the older games were easier to vote for. On the more recent stuff I was pleased to see Okami (Wii) and Flower (PS3).
Missing perhaps, were the vector graphics and also the laser disc games.
No handhelds, arcade systems, vector based (my Vectrex actually sits in the office of my day job!), etc. We were limited to 20 systems that could best represent, in the broadest way possible, the markers for "video games", in a global sense, for the past 30 plus years.
