b++; a=-1000; c=-1000; I guess that settles it You're cheating looks fine to me, from what I understand of the rules, you get 1 vote but allowed to split it up how you like (do correct me if i'm wrong ) so the above would be equal to : 1 + 1000 + 1000 = 2001 (parts of your one vote) so in this case b++ would equal 1/2001 of a vote a = -1000 would equal 1/2001 * 1000 of a minus vote c = -1000 would equal 1/2001 * 1000 of a minus vote I don't think that was what the author of that post wanted, but this makes sence and I like it a lot!

I think b supporters need to start voting c-- tactically.

Was attempting to reset the a and c variables to -1000.. However this could backfire if some1 multiples by -1 (or if currently already negative) .. Ooops missed that But seriously, the Red logos blatently dont work. At first glance they look nice, but try to read a first post with a bright red logo in the corner of your eye.. Nah!!

There's so much wasted space at the top of the page that if you're actually reading a post you've scrolled down already

I agree with pjt. With the previous full java-gaming.org logo the space didn't look wasted. How about moving the logo down and shifting the news across? ie.

Sure, it will get smaller. The current size was chosen rather arbitrarily, the original images are huge.

If your angling for saving space, you could have gone a step even further sorry for the paint skills

Red logo looks nicer, but it just doesn't fit on an all blue theme. My ideal vote would be: change theme to match c as although the theme is nice it's not nice enough to warrent keeping.

Haha, me too! Or maybe the blue one could chase the red one and vice versa in an animated gif?! The logo design is awesome. Nice work.

Or make it part of the user preferences.

Although I'm not changing my vote (don't really feel all that strongly), note that of course Oracle's branding and design is all very red / white / black fwiw. Not that I think JGO should mimic Oracle's corporate identity, but it means lots of official Java documentation looks like that and so on...

I was curious so I made a quick check and the standings are something similar to: a=... b=... c=...
With people changing votes and doing negative things and so on (which I skipped as it wasn't agreed upon) I might have gotten lost somewhere but I'd say that there is a clear looser and (possibly?) a winner.

b++ for fitting in with the blue theme (which I happen to like).
All of them are eating up a fair bit of vertical space, though. Feels like a waste of the area to the right of the logo.

I'm going to change my vote to minus A. I want the red eye without highlight, but I also want no highlight on the head or text. Minimalist FTW. Icons and logos should be as simple and bold as you can get away with, not made out of polished plastic.

As we each have our own taste and preferences, please keep the 'maybe you could add ... to make it exactly as I envisioned it since your first attempt' constructive criticism to yourself.
