c++ I think using a blue logo looks like crap in an all blue forum. It's like dropping lakewater into the ocean and expecting to tell the difference. Maybe? Or that's just a crappy analogy.
I don't consider myself a designer, so take with much salt, but the basic principle of logos I was taught is that the colours of the logo should dictate the colours of the site. So from that point of view, a blue site should have a blue Duke. But I'm so used to Duke's nose being red that the blue one just makes me think he's freezing cold, which I why I've gone for a red one. Can't decide. How about putting one of the three (at random) at the head of the forums temporarily to give us a better idea of what we're voting for?
Can anyone produce a user stylesheet which does the effect? I tried with the Stylish plugin for Firefox, but I can't get it working. I can hide the existing image, but my attempts to use :after aren't producing any visual effect whatsoever.

How about this random changing png file instead, should be easier to try then using javascript or css: logo.png

After seeing it "in the wild," it's definitely better to match the forum theme than have the logo be the only red item on the page.

It's harder to read code than to write it. - it's even harder to write readable code.

b-- (Can I do that, if others also do it?) I'll vote that down, since I just want the logo to be red as the duke seems weird dressed in a blue nose.

For current forum theme: b++
In the future, if we decide to shake the theme up, we could consider red. We can always shake up the logo as needed.

blue is easier on the eye. Don't want contrasting colours in the corner of the eye; it's distracting.

On reflection (and a few page refreshes) I like the text from a but the duke from c. I didn't realise they were different.
Um... b-- ?

b++; a=-1000; c=-1000; I guess that settles it You're cheating looks fine to me, from what I understand of the rules, you get 1 vote but allowed to split it up how you like (do correct me if i'm wrong ) so the above would be equal to : 1 + 1000 + 1000 = 2001 (parts of your one vote) so in this case b++ would equal 1/2001 of a vote a = -1000 would equal 1/2001 * 1000 of a minus vote c = -1000 would equal 1/2001 * 1000 of a minus vote
