It has left alpha state, skipped beta and has "officially" been released now. The version number is 1.22 to match the version number of dektop jPCT.
The download includes the API, the Docs and a simple HelloWorld example as an Eclipse project. More info can be found here: http://www.jpct.net/jpct-ae/

Version 1.24 has been released today with optional support for OpenGL ES 2.0, i.e. shaders and such. A little shader demo video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Zgn1OCDIus
