Hi buddies,
                   I'm new to java,i don't have much knowledge but i will learn it soon.I want to do games using java,can any one help me out to this??i mean please tell me the reference books..

Check out the Java Tutorials. As good a place to start as any, and they're free.

The Java Tutorials might seem boring and off topic of games, but if you're creative you can easily create a bunch of small text-based games.
