Anyone submit any presentations?

Both of mine were denied (technical session and BOF!). I was a bit surprised to have a BOF turned down as this is the 1st time that happened in the 4 times (3 successful) I've submitted for J1. I've heard in the past that up to a third of BOF presenters don't even show.

I was going to present on TyphonRT and building a game to run both on the desktop and Android from a shared asset & code base.

"How To Create A 3D Game For The Desktop & Android in 60 Minutes with TyphonRT"

I am really curious if Android being part of the content that it was denied for that alone seeing that there was general anti-Android sentiment displayed from a lot of Sun folks last year and such. I can't imagine Oracle will have all too much interest in Android in relation to Java either.

It's just a bummer cause the year I finally release my tech (in June) I get the cold shoulder from J1. It's not like I was going to talk all about Android either. So it will be interesting to see if there will be any Android related presentations or any game oriented presentations. This could be somewhat of a barometer to figure out Oracle's commitment to desktop real time apps & games. :: sigh ::
