Hi Gang,

I would like some help with the following problem. I'm trying to figure out how I would draw (ie: simulate) shaded spheres using java2d only. ie: no jogl, no java3d and/or any other libraries.

Ultimately, I'd like to make something where I can generate a view of a shaded planet.

tips/links on anything that may help me would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gangmember,
I saw this a few weeks ago on Shannon Smith's website. Looks pretty cool!  A tutorial on how to draw a shaded planet! Annoying Little Gits (Android)   Play java (applet) games! Free Online Chess Clock
