Is it recommended to close a Clip before leaving the application?

In the previous version of TUER, I close each Clip before leaving the application but it makes some strange sounds as you can check by yourself:

If the clip is nor active neither running but open, is it safe not to call close()?

Yes - when the VM process exits everything is tidied up by the OS.
