Just picked this up this week and WHOOO BOY! What a blast! The recreation of classic 8-bit style is a fantasic parody and XSeed did a great job on this.

Highly recommended!

While I'm thinking about it, what about a classic 8-bit, retro developer contest? 16K games? Would love some old school games in a comp like that....shmups and side scroller fight games. Double Dragon!

Sounds like a great idea, we've had similar contests in the past like the mario remake contest. Draw up some simple rules, maybe provide a link to some graphic resources and possibly throw in some small prizes.
