hi, i really wanted to be able to compile and run it for better understanding but the zip doesn't contain any of the resources needed. i replaced graphics with placeholders but then found out that it uses custom  level data files which are also missing. maybe you could include some placeholder graphics and some map data files so anyone could experiment with it better.

EDIT:
Found out that there's a map editor on your homepage but the map i created and named map1.mp just throws exceptions.

EDIT2:
It also needs .en and .it files for each level which i don't know how to reproduce
