4k demo contest?

Or will we need to wait until december for the next 4K dose.

I must admit I've been somewhat busy in other projects, e.g. my own Galactic Commander game, and work. So this hasn't been high on my priority list, nor interest list.

I still think this is a great idea. But people stopped discussing this some time ago (this is the first post in 2 months?), and nobody has bugged me about this, so I let it slip.

I've been having thoughts about running the demo contest parallel to the game contest, during Dec, Jan and Feb. So people can do both a game and a demo.

I was keeping an eye on this thread, as the idea of doing a 4k demo is tempting, but am ludicrously busy at work so perhaps this is for the best.  I did get as far as writing some proof of concept code for the music sequencer and some for doing plasma tunnels and textured planets.  The sequencer is rather nice, but a bit too large to use in 4k games.
