hey all, sorry for being off for a long time. more than one person has commented on my taking a while, so I did some coding and I am releasing version 1.9

updates:
  • arena, here you can gain some levels/make some money.
  • you now have to buy skills. jut buy it at a shop and then use the item, then you will have the skill.
  • There is probably some other stuff, it has just been so long...

It's pretty interesting. I went into the second area and got stuck getting some items.

It would look better if you had a background image, instead of the black. It will liven it up a bit.

Tried on Windows 7 RC with 64-bit Java.. it's missing 64-bit native libraries for LWJGL.  I haven't installed 32-bit Java.  I supposed I'm going to have to break down and do it...

I think I know what you are talking about, you ahve to use the jetpack to get out of there. That is why I give you the jetpack.

well, I have made another version, havent released yet. half of it is bug fixes. Actually, I just realized there is an uploaded version. But inventory wont work at all, so I have fixed it but I cannot test in school. So I will test first thing when I get home (~1 hr). I made the save process more endurable. I realized shortly after the release that  forgot to make the saving skills code, so that is done now.

Yes. I think so.

According to the changelog:

2008-12-22 11:55  elias_naur

   * src/java/org/lwjgl/WindowsSysImplementation.java,
     src/native/common/common_tools.c: Windows 64: Enabled lwjgl64.dll
     and fixed crash


While your at at can you make sure the Solaris binaries are there too?  Wink

Ijust fixed some stuff in the saving proccess really.

I have to resignt he jar though cause it is giving a warning, cause my keystore out of date :/.

EDIT: I am having some trouble if I make a nwe keystore then it says It cant validate and exits.

does anyone know how to revalidate the certificate?

I have gotten it to the point where ti will work, but there is still a prompt.

I recently found out that slick doesnt have a solaris native or so someone else said. I dont think it ahs a 64 bit windows. Cause all I do in the jnlp is just add teh slick.jnlp at the website.

1.9.6 is out:
  • there is equipment with saving(I have made code for other items, but only the helmet is being sold, rest is to be sold in another town (not there yet)
  • I changed the jumping to work with pixels not time, so that if there is a short freeze/slowdown it is still reliable.
in next version:
I will save the location(so you can get to the other towns)

should come about soon.

it is just basically saving location

I am now going to devote most of my time to thaht Wink.
