hello everyone....i wanted know whether mp3 is supported by joal or not?
and if it is supported can anyone suggest me a tutorial on playing mp3.
I searched on the net and found tutorials on java.net but they all demonstrated playing wav file.

it is not. fwiw, you should use jorbis or similar which is an ogg/vorbis implementation in Java. Vorbis is better because its not patented unlike mp3 (you have to get a license for mp3 if you distribute more than 5000 copies of your game).
