Hi!

Ankama Games wrote the famous game Dofus (in Flash) but for its next game, Java has been chosen (and OpenGL too)  Grin
You can find it here : http://www.wakfu.com

It was the only proof of the use of JOGL in this game because the authors said the game uses Java and OpenGL on their blog but they don't tell precisely which OpenGL binding they have chosen. I admit that I thought it uses LWJGL because some other commercial games already use it but I was wrong and I'm very happy to be wrong this time  Grin

Instead of being a bit sarcastic, give it a try. I tried the demo versions of your games and I appreciate the excellent job you have made even though you have used LWJGL. Is it possible that you test a game that uses JOGL and maybe admit it is a good software?

You have to set your language to french

I guess that demonstrates that bundleing the JRE isn't exactly wasting much space...

...but also that Java's deployment methods are not sufficient.

That new kernel stuff works a treat btw - my update 11 downloaded in dribs and drabs the other day when I went to look at an applet somewhere.

Maybe this is why Kev made that post about technology bickering?

...did you know that JOGL stands for Java Open Graphics Library? Yessir, it does.

Hah! I think the funniest part about the whole JavaFX thing is that even a Java community insults it.

What they need is a bunch of caustic visionaries from the UK to drastically fix it Wink

Yes it is a beta version, it is better than nothing. Sorry, you're right to mention it, I should have done it.

I tested it under Linux, the text didn't appear correctly. Do you have the same problem?

Game plays fine, after while the gui seems to disappear and some other glitches but it's beta...

That and my french sucks.

This game uses compressed textures to display the text. Which graphics card do you use? My graphics card supports GL_ARB_texture_compression.
