The goal of the competition is of course to get as many people to participate and submit great games! We gain as our community gets larger, and more people learn Java game programming. Sometimes people only need a little excuse to get going, and the Java4K competition is perfect for newcomers!

The competition belongs to all of us, so let's help each other out in advertising where appropriate! Smiley

I make no money from the site, but I sure do enjoy managing it! What enjoys me more is that A LOT of people enjoy it!  Grin

Anyway, just wanted to make this post so everyone understand that it's up to us all to spread the word around.

Thanks!  Wink

I've written an entry to my blog a few days before your post. If you're interested here's the link: http://voituk.kiev.ua/2008/11/27/the-power-of-4k. It's in Russian so I guess most of readers will find this entry an amusing sequence of senseless characters  Smiley

But we get posted there yesterday. [Kotaku.com]

Sorry, the server seems to have gone down for a second. It's up again.
