In case anyone is interested, the next Ludum Dare (48 hour game development competition) is coming up Aug. 8-10, see http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/.  It's not Java specific or anything, and there's no prize (just bragging rights), but it would be great to see some strong Java contenders in the mix, so mark the weekend if you can!
