This would be great..

I think I have all the necessary tools to build it. I checked the source otu from CVS, though, and haven't had any luck building things with Ant. There are a bunch of different build.xml files, and I don't know what needs to be built. Everything I've tried is giving me build errors though.

Can someone give me precise instructions on how I can do this? I've never used Ant before, so perhaps I'm just doing something wrong..

Can you tell me what the errors are and I'll try to help. Are you trying to build for windows or linux?

I'm hoping to get my hands on a 64 bit machine in just over a week (it's not certain yet), until then, it's not impossible to compile the project.

JInput could be compiled for 64 bit environments for a while. I have recently created a build farm at home that now does this on a nightly basis. The nightly builds can be found here.

Can people who have tried and failed to get this building post the errors so we can get ant scripts that work for as many people as possible?.
