I'm having real trouble with this.  I've tried javajoystick, which threw some error at me and didnt work.  I tried JXInput, but couldn't figure it out, same with JInput

Could someone post SIMPLE code using JInput or JXInput as an example (simple implementation and just printing the X and Y Locations of the joystick, thats all I need).

That would be really helpful, thank you.

There is a Getting started guide for JInput which has code in it with explinations of what the code does. There are also other posts in the forum with examples of users code like this.
