That would have to be the best keyboard ever if they actually made it.  It's basically like using touch screen technology for your keyboard.

It would probably use alot of electricity though.

It would be nice if they donated one to JInput for development purposes  Grin

Looks nice, but I bet it's not very good for your fingers. Anyone remember the ZX81 keyboard...?  Cheesy

It's pretty, yes, but a keyboard that doesn't support touch typing.. Er.. No thanks.

Play Minecraft!

Hmm honestly I like this concept better

http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/

I occasionally shift keys as it is when typing with a normal keyboard, usually using the feel of the nearby keys to reorient myself. I just feel like one flat surface is going to be extremely frustrating and/or take a significantly lengthy period of time to be able to begin to type with the same ease as a button-based keyboard.

You couldn't pay me to type on that thing. No tactical feedback = horrible typing experience.

But their maximus, which they debuted years ago, is still really neat. It's the one that's a normal keyboard with each key having its own little lcd screen.
