Where to find coding buddies?

I am not sure is this "Off Topic" correct place but I'll ask this question here.

I've been coding with Java for a year and I've done some small games. Lately my motivation have been declining because there's just so much to do alone in even a small game.

I would like to know that is there any good places in Internet  where I could take part in some java game projects? Does anyone know? Or is anyone interested to start doing some kind of java game?

My advice is, stick to a game that you *can* code on your own - but try and find an artist.

Well, that was a good point. Finding an artist would help a lot and I could focus just on coding.

I was just thinking that if I could find some other programmer with quite same experience than I have, then he could maybe help me and I could help him when working on some  project. Sharing knowledge helps to learn.. I know one java programmer and we had some small projects but he's quite busy these days and don't have time for projects before next summer.
