As mentioned in the Wurm thread.. there is a great big convention/show of sorts in Finland this weekend called Assembly 2003. A place for coders to get together and show their 'art' and such that is actually promoted heavily by tech companies and the tourism guys in Finland.

An internet pal of mine is going there with a demo group to show off his Java intro in the 64kB compo, btw. WooHoo!
The whole "Demo Scene" has never really taken off in North America.. I wonder why?
