Hi All!

Is there doc or javadoc about JInput?  If yes where can I find it?

Thanks to all!

Hi
If you have jinput checked out then you can run
1
ant javadoc
from the top level jinput directory it will generate it for you, should be in coreAPI/apidoc then, there is platform specific documentatino under each of the plugins, but you shouldn't need this unless you are using it as reference for implementing another platform.

EDIT: just added windows build and latest linux build to the files section of jinput.dev.java.net, also added a a zip of the core API javadoc.

Cheers

Either i'm looking in the wrong place, or its a dead link Sad The jinput doc .zip gives a 404 from the nightly builds page, is it linked to from anywhere else?

(Failing that, how are all the jars and dlls expecting to be installed on a winXP machine?)

Hi
I just tried it, and it worked for me, it's a link to http://www.newdawnsoftware.com/resources/jinput_coreapi_javadoc.zip, which seems to be fine (i've checked the server and it's there alright, and the permissions are set fine), if you still can't get it let me know.

Cheers

Edit:
Ok, I was looking at the jinput.dev.java.net file share area, the games-binaries page does indeed have a broken link, the link I provided above is my own javadoc, not any kind of officail stuff, but it should give you more than a 404 Smiley

Nudge, nudge.

I just went looking for the docs, and if I hadn't remembered there was a topic with this title from previous casual browsing of the forum, I would have been starting a new post with "Where's the docs?" Smiley.

<gives up all hope of java.net ever adopting a decent, sensible UI for public projects>

<...but is getting used to ignoring the top and left parts of the pages, and concentrating on the games.java.net inner nav stuff in the bottom right, which is very nicely organized Smiley...>

<...although "documentation" and "latest build" ought to be links in that red nav area for EVERY ONE of the core projects"!!>

malloc will be first against the wall when the revolution comes...
