130000 posts and to date there's Oddlabs, Puppygames, Three Rings, and ... erm... that's all I can think of off the top of my head taking Java "seriously" for clientside games development! Where is everybody?? Remember back in 2001 when I did that terrain demo (yeah that's right, 6 years ago!) and nobody took it seriously? Sigh. Progress is slow Undecided

Well, there are more companies that are using Java as well, just not announcing their projects yet.  I know of 4 pretty major efforts Smiley
