I was wondering what is the best program to use for a beginner, I heard that JME and Java 3D were pretty good but I don't know. I also want to know some tutorial sites (preferbly with programming examples.) thank you in advance

Totally new to what? Java? Games? 3D? 2D? (Look's like 3D)

Go to http://www.jmonkeyengine.com/ and follow the link to the WiKi.  They have tutorials there.
