http://odejava.org/ is a 3d physics engine in java

theres also a 2d physics engine at http://www.cokeandcode.com/phys2d/

I'm working on a physics engine as one of my sub-projects here:

I don't know if I'd call it a good one yet, however...it all depends on what you need.
