Yup. However, there's not a *whole lot* to learn. Use gregorypierce's tutorials posted here to get started with JOGL and then use any OpenGL book/tutorial site to do work with.

I've ported the first 5 NeHe tutorials at http://nehe.gamedev.net and will be posting more as time allows.
