Java games rock!

hi, lately i have been shouted by news that java3d is suspended . What is it so? I'm new to jogl. Can anyone recommand some books / online tutorials?  Can i use jogl with java3d?  It's really a waste for spending so much time on java3d and realised it is about to be terminated.

Nobody said it is about to be terminated!

It is currently not making any progress, but it is still a supported API in its current form.

David Yazel is making a scene graph API on top of JOGL or LWJGL that is somewhat compatible with Java3D.  Check out info on his Xith3D API elsewhere on these boards.
