Hello JGO and Happy New Year!

I hope the holidays were good to everyone and, now that the new year is upon us, I am trying to put some resolutions in place for JGO.  So, here we go:

1) Fix the stupid e-mail thing.
2) Look at other solutions for the forums that may make them more stable.
3) Work on the whole look and feel of the site

Any other suggestions, let me know.

1) Add a new role that can approve new users to stop the lag time in sign up completion (and stop me getting mails about it Smiley).
2) Run another game competition

Make it so I don't have to log in every time I visit.

I think that's actually nothing to do with you and more about how Opera caches the page, so you may have to change Opera rather than doing anything to the site, but I've got a lot of faith you're up to the job...

Opera works fine here, but the "go to latest post in this thread" button doesn't work and always puts me at the top of page 1. It used to work fine.

Happy new year to y'all too.

My new years' resolutions:

1. Quit job
2. Release 3 games
3. Move to Korea and live with Chaz
4. $4k/month revenues from Puppygames by end 2007
5. Avoid women at all costs

Yes, happy new year to everyone!

As for my new year's resolutions:
1. Quit smoking. (sometime in 2007, didn't make it on januari 1st   Tongue)
2. Release at least 1 new game (I just found out that Hyper Blazer is on the 3rd place of most played games on, beating huge numbers of classic emulated games, yay!  Cheesy)
3. Find work in either Bangkok or maybe somewhere else in se asia. I already quit my job to do contracting work, which I figured will make things easier. Still, I found that finding work there without already actually living there is close to impossible... So I guess I'll have to save some money to move, find a job, get the permits etc.

5. Avoid women at all costs
Wanna make a bet you will fail that one?  Grin
I'm sure you'll be able to pull off your 1st four goals though, good luck!

Happy 2007 everyone!

Unfortunately, this is the year I'm going away for my (obligatory here in Greece) military service Sad. So, I'm hoping to be productive until May, then my life ends 'till mid-2008. I won't forget this lovely community though! Wink

I would like to finish a decent game before I head off to college at the end of the summer, hopefully possible.

Learn to control myself when attempting to make a game.

Is there a name for a "redneck" programmer?

I have actually made a list of 12 things towards my first entirely self-produced game, completing one per month is one of my new-year's resolutions...
