- java server programming to specs, lots of testing (developing unit tests, systems tests, and stress tests for a 50-million-hits-per-hour website), some SQL work (but mostly handled by other people), a lot of XML / XSLT processing (but indirectly, within java; expertise in making XSLT fly like the wind would be very helpful)
