Not unless it's remote working Smiley. A fiancee and a kid with family up here preclude me from moving, although I was told for 40k a year they would think about it Smiley

40K in the south west is not alot really. If you think about it, the rent/mortgage down there is SKY high, thats 1 - 2K a month going to rent/mortgage alone...not nice. I used to live in Surrey until i moved to birmingham. For the same salary, i got a house thats worth 2Mil in surrey for 100K.

Im presuming its about the same for south west...

Well IF you were here in the US, AND I had my damn man power allocation I'd want  a resume. **sigh**

In the meantiem the one thing i CNA offer is this.  If you need a reference to tell them what a terrific, dependable guy you are and how you are a Java/C/JNi whiz kid, Id be happy to write letters or even talk to people.

Just ask.  You have my Sun email address.

Got a question about Java and game programming?  Just new to the Java Game Development Community?  Try my FAQ.  Its likely you'll learn something!

Hi

Thats a really great offer Jeff. If I can pursuade any of the place I get put forward too, that references from a non commercial project are just as valuable, I'll give it a whirl.
