Hey guys ! here's a lill' discussion I had with the creator of GLInterceptor :
me => him
Hi,
I'm a Developer of Xith3D (
http://www.xith.org/ ) and
we would like to
improve our OpenGL rendering pipeline.
Your tracing/debugging tool seems really great, but unfortunately at
least two of us devs (including me) work on Linux..
Do you know when a linux release is gonna come out ?
Thanks in advance,
Amos Wenger

Hi,
Well, it will happen but not anytime soon. I converted the main
lib over to Linux(which you can see in the current source) and have
just replaced the GUI stuff with wxWidgets.
However, progress is a bit slow at the moment as I am try to do
some funky things for GLIntercept 1.0.
So once again, it will happen, just not "soon".
(I would suggets trying Bugle, but I see you are already trying
it out from your forum post)

Hi,
Could I suggest to you to release 1.0 both for Linux and Windows ? You do
as you want of course,
of rather as you can. But I always find annoying when Linux versions are
delayed by several weeks/months.
Anyway, thanks for you great work.
I tried Bugle, but I do have an installation problem for now....
I'm currently explorating the possibilities of debugging included in JOGL
(
https://jogl.dev.java.net/)

Well if you do REALLY want the Linux version with the 1.0 release, how about giving me a hand?
I don't need help with coding, just mostly with configuration and setup. (makefiles, distribution packing etc)
Also a email sent weekly or so to nag at me to get it done (or weekly progress update) would help.
(as if I know there is someone waiting on it, I code faster and am less likely to slack off).
If you want to help, my main email is <censored--nospam>.
Thanks,
