All, I have just started a new vodcast called Level Up and the first episode is on the air! 2 of the games featured on the show (at the end) are Titan Attacks and Wurm Online. Check it out at http://www.java.com/levelup and post your thoughts here! -Chris P.S. Just getting started with the show and flow, so be nice

Although at first you seemed a bit like you just had 23 cans of red bull, I think you did a great job. Maybe some bits could have been more in-depth and detailed, but all in all very entertaining and still informative. That mPowerPlayer seems like a really good vehicle for showing a really neat application of WORA so that was pretty good choice for some java evengalising (is that english?).

hmm. I just don't see where you're getting that from. enthusiastic fellow, isn't he? it's pretty cool that Java Gaming isn't represented by an old, bald, boring, lingering fart. " individually wrapped for your protection!"

great show. however at the risk of sounding like a party pooper, you might want to limit the number of games in the top-3 picks to 1, lest you run out of games quickly (or it becomes a j2me-free-for-all)

the cast was rather good and informative, however i did think the java games shown at the end were shown far too briefly (only a few seconds) and didn't do justice to them, a more in depth review of them would have been better, showing more of the game.

better to just download the MP4 directly.. or if you have iTunes (or a similiar video-RSS aggregator, like even PSP), you can subscribe to the RSS and watch the video offline

I agree on that too. This is especially true for indie developpers who try to succeed commercially.

That was really cool, the enthusiastic presenting style fits perfect. How techie will the next interviews be? Because it would be awesome to have an long interview (like with mpowerplay) with some JGO guys about the games they've made like the authors of the 3 games at the end. I know you're in the US and the authors aren't (I think), but there are plenty of US JGO guys that would make a good interview. Maybe we could submit questions for you to ask them ! Also, how extensively do you want to promote JGO? If you are trying to attract as many potential devs as possible, I'd put a JGO link on the sun java forums under the games forum section. I festered there for 2 years before I found this site. The disadvantage would be lots of newbs (like me) turning up, but I'm OK with that!

cool cast definitely! I am suprised about the good quality. I expected something more ... garage-production like. Looking forward to seeing more. As a non-native English speaker I noticed that Chris is articulating clearly and especially not ridicously fast like other vodcasts I watch once in a while... I agree with the suggestion to focus on one single game in the end. Presenting the game while playing it might be interesting. Johannes

Cool vodcast, the only real annoying thing i were the current blend effects. Nothing against the effects themself, but the cutter or whoever put them into the show, should wait till you ended your sentence. Because the sound of the blend effect overlap your voice. So the end and beginning of your phrases aren't understandable. That improve would be very good //e; Ah, and please don't wiggle like someone with ADS, that looks unprofessional/unserious. Don't understand me wrong, that wiggle wiggle that occurs some time is not bad at all, and game shows life from it. But in the end were you where waiting for the final blend out you wiggled and wiggled //e 2: ok, I checked my audio connectors...they weren't totally connected. THis time i heard chris moderation also while the blend effects began/end

excellent - cool video - really enjoyed watching it! I agree with a couple of posts here that it would be great if the games at the end were given a little more airtime!
