Hi.
I'm considering using Xith 3d, but available demos aren't enough to me for choosing...

Could you guys give me links to your games using Xith 3D (physics, graphics and sound)?

thanks

Well, it is not exactly related to your question, but just wonder have you seen "Java Cool Dude's Demo Set"?
Asking because the link seems to be broken  Huh
@Amos: Could you please look at it...

Ah these so-called "friendly-URLs" give me headaches.. Nevermind, it's fixed now. JCD's demos are accessible again

@antoinelechacal :
JCD demos are cool, you can have a foretaste of what's possible with Xith3D.
You may want to take a look at Magicosm, the (aborted) project David Yazel originally developed Xith3D for : http://images.google.com/images?q=Magicosm

Also maybe I can find some videos of my current game, if you're interested.

You can do wonderful things with Xith3D, or with Java3D or with jME, it's entirely up to you and which to choose is a question of taste and habits (and performance, although this is easily fixed, and as I'm talking in the way of being fixed).

If you prefer to ask questions in french, feel free.

Isn't "Jack Flowers" done with Xith? But that's the only (almost) complete game that i can remember ATM.

@MagicSpark :
- Is my english that bad? ;-)
- If you don't mind, I'd like to see some videos of your current game
- Which tool should I should talking about performance?
- Which tool should I choose talking about support and future?

Thanks

No, really not  Wink

Oh just wait, some eye-candy to add ^^

I'm a biased developer : Xith3D is what I use so it's what I would recommend you to choose.Currently and to be really honest Xith3D performance is the worst of Xith3D-Java3D-jME trio. BUT it's not because of bad design of whatever. There are some things being fixed and some others being implemented (like display lists or VBOs, for example). Talking about support, Java3D has Sun, and jME has another company behind it (Three Rings, is it right ?). Thus, I can guarantee you to have a working dev environment and workflow (integrating artists with flow) composed of the following tools : Blender-Cal3D-Eclipse-Linux-Xith3D-JOGL. They all works together perfectly and believe me, to get in your game what your artists designed is *NOT* easy, not at all. Fortunately the solution we've found is really convenient.
