Java games rock!

« Posted 2006-08-04 07:52:58 »

Hi All,

For the Mario contest I have submitted TROM to the contest pages:

http://unlimited.woogley.net/mario/view.php?id=1

http://www.eerstetijd.nl/mario

Could you please take the time and write me a little message about
your Operating System and Browser version? The code is from a Beta project and
I am wondering how many systems can run this code?
So far I have been testing on Windows XP with Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape Communicator
and also on Solaris for Intel and Solaris for Sparc..... Calling all Mac users Smiley

My teammember was asking me for a level editor for Mazeland Version 2
and I thought it would be a nice oportunity to reskin the program
after the Mario contest entry. So I focused on a game with a built-in editor.

You may use the code  but I must warn you that I'm no way near a
good programmer! Trial and (mostly) error is what I do.

Thanks in advance for your specifications.

Best regards from

M.E.

Thanks Moogie,

Woogley has a mail in his inbox concerning this as I didn't find a way to modify the page.

Hi Purple Guitar

Excellent. Thanks for the report!

Now hopefully a Mac user comes along and can do the test as well.....

Keeping fingers crossed.

Where's the Kaboom?

Appears to work on OS X (10.4.7) PPC w. Safari

A bit hard to control, as Mario doesn't always line up the way I expect and then he snaps to the grid when I change direction.

Hi swpalmer,

Thanks for the OS info!

The previous comments made me rework on the environment and I will try to move mario a bit so that it is
a better to see what the alignment is.
Maybe even enlarging moving the tubes....

Again thanks for the OS.
Glad that it appears to work on all targetted platforms so I know that the 'engine' seems to work.

Best regards from
