Dear All,

I've just added an introductory chapter on writing a Java 3D application. It's based around a 3D version of John Conway's Game of Life. I also discuss how to convert it into a Windows screensaver.

It's chapter N2 "Get a Life (in 3D)" in the Java 3D section of the Killer Game Programming in Java website,

Comments are appreciated.
