just a thought, but is library loading case sensitive?

OPENGL32.DLL in windows/system is all uppercase, but thats normal isn't it

the other 3 are named OpenAL32.dll, lwjgl.dll and EaxAc3.dll

Don't think it's case sensitive on win32.

The strange thing is that I get exactly the same error (File not found) when just printing whatever the current error is on my machine after the RegisterClass call. However, the window creation does not fail?!.

I can verify that it is running for me on Windows98, WindowsME, and Windows2K.

/me wonders why it worked on some win98 machines, and not on others

I just tried CounterSheep, and although it worked (mostly), I got an error - 'Failed to acquire keyboard'
However, the game still worked (keyinput included) - though I didn't work out exactly what your sposed 2 do
