Just wondering, would be possible to use Swing to build the in-game menus? Somehow render it inside the game (through a texture maybe), and the game app would let swing know about events.

Also, would it be possible to customize the swing look and feel for matching that of the game? I don't know Swing really, I work with server side Java, but I have heard something about Synth for this.
