What games developers need from java

What happened to the topic that discussed this?

There was a post from Jeff, IIRC, which said something like "we want to know what things you need from us; problems with java from a game developers perspective" etc.

I thought it was in this category, but there's nothing there now. I checked ALL of Jeff's posts, and cannot find any where he talks about stuff like this.

Is it just possible that you've accidentally deleted that topic? Or am I going mad here (I've just spent 30 minutes trying to find it on the forums but failing everywhere)? On the very small chance that A: there was a topic, and B: it was deleted deliberately, why?

Have you tried extending the post date when making a search ? The search is set by default to look only in the posts from the last 7 days, so it is likely your topic won't appear in this delay.
