Hello people ( again )

I feel like I am overusing you but I would like to ask you , what exactly is J2ME.From what I found in the net it is the mobile version of Java ..... BUT I do not understand what we mean by that.I mean J2SE is what I am using to program my applications/games/projects for university  e.t.c. What is the difference with J2ME?It has less capabilites in order for it to make programs which can go to mobile phones?

A pain in the ass!

While the midp stuff is mostly set in stone, vendors have a talent in comming up with ways to twist the meaning.
Stuff will work differently on every device.

If you have any questions, fire away because trying to figure it out for yourself will drive you crazy.
