Thick As A Brick

« Posted 2006-03-28 18:53:43 »

Okay I finally broke down and bought an XBox 360 ( ). I was waiting for the PS3 but it looks like it may never get here.

Anyway, I was wondering what games you all like and why so I know what to go get. I'm enjoying Perfect Dark Zero so far. I also have Project Gatham Racing which seems okay.

On my list to get:

Call Of Duty 2
Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion
Burnout Revenge (maybe)

I am VERY impressed with Condemned:Criminal Origins.  The graphics, physics and gameplay are all amazing!

The best 360 games are all on Live Arcade. Geometry Wars 2 is a must-buy, and Robotron is worth a look too. Joust is also very good and very faithful (and playable over Live). Gauntlet is still a good laugh if you can get a full party of four to play.

For 'proper' games Condemmed is pretty good, although I got tired of it after a while. Avoid Burnout - the series is now a shadow of it's former self and the game requires practically no skill to play. A shame really as Burnout 2 is probably my favorite racing game.
