I really want to get the source for the model loader demos for jme, but can't find it anywhere. I've tried unpacking .jar's and other things but can't get it. Isn't JME open source? And if not, aren't its demos open source? Seems to me that's easily the best way to learn. I found the code for furballz but I just want to look at something simple so I understand exactly what is going on.

On jmonkeyengine.com there are the sources for the release, the nightly build and finally you can check out from cvs. All these contain the sources of the demos.

Yeah, I couldn't find it on the main site and so was looking through the CVS, where I couldn't find them because there is so much source code to look through. I apologize because I don't think my first question was very clear – but I have found the main CVS source, I just can't seem to find it for the demos.
